Lead by Peter Nicholson

Part II: Refining Your Strategy* (Follow-up to the Part I Entry and Mid-career Workshops)
A more interactive session, this workshop builds on and develops the
information previously presented. It is intended for those who have
begun to engage and act upon the earlier material. Through in-depth
discussion and interactive exercises, attendees focus on identifying
and overcoming barriers, developing and adjusting career development
strategies, and exploring specific opportunities and resources.
Participants are encouraged to bring their individual questions, as
well as insights, to this small group, participatory session.
Space is intentionally limited to allow for questions/interaction.
Lead by Laura Flanigan
Consultant, Five Winds International
*Prerequisite: Previous attendance at a Part I Workshop (i.e. Foresight's "regular" Careers Workshop) is required.
Afternoon Session (1:00-5:00pm)
Part III: Putting It Into Practice
Intended for those who have taken a Sustainable Careers Workshop (Part
I or II), Part III provides the opportunity to take those next steps
necessary for identifying and securing a sustainability-related
position. Working in both small- and large-group sessions, this
half-day seminar will provide the opportunity to meet with local
sustainability leaders from a diversity of sectors in small group
settings. In addition, reviewed topics will complement those covered in
the previous workshop(s). They will include resume and cover letter
issues, putting your self-assessment to work, getting experience,
practice interviews, and viable next steps.
